Your activities

As an HR& Happiness Officer, you are the link between the organization and thewell-being of our employees. You measure, understand, and enhance workplacehappiness within the organization. At the same time, you are responsible for adiverse range of administrative HR tasks such as salary increases, contractmanagement, absenteeism, and CLA monitoring, among many other topics. Inaddition, you will be involved in the following activities:

  • Monthly reporting to our payroll administration on salary increases and changes within the employee base
  • Familiarity with the content of our employment contracts and responsibility for the contract cycle for our employees
  • Responding to questions from various organizational levels on various HR topics
  • Conducting interviews with employees and systematically administering surveys to gain insight into workplace happiness within the organization
  • Being responsible for our onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Monitoring absenteeism, having knowledge of the Wet Poortwachter, and being directly involved in colleague reintegration
  • Advocating for a safe and inclusive working environment for everyone within our organization
  • Playing a significant role in organizing our annual NGO project

What we offer

A role as an HR & Happiness Officer means a job full of challenges and responsibilities.   • A salary between €3400 and €4600 per month (including 8% holiday pay), depending on your work experience

  • Besides in-house training opportunities, an external development budget of €2,000 per year to obtain relevant certifications

What you bring

You are someone who is confident in their opinions but also listens well to colleagues.You derive pleasure from your varied set of tasks, of which administration is an essential part. Additionally, you possess:

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in, for example,Psychology, Law, or Business Administration
  • 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience withinHR, L&D, or Recruitment
  • A keen interest in various facets within the HR domain
  • A structured way of working that aligns with processing important and sensitive information
  • The flexibility to switch between administration and contributing to workplace happiness within the organization
  • The willingness to develop yourself and gain knowledge within your field
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be the HR resource for the rest of the organization
  • A positive and people-oriented mindset that aligns with our approach to talent development
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
