Interim IT Engineer
Mploy Associates is always looking for self employed IT engineers to join our network. Joining our network gives you access to a wide range of projects of our top-200 clients. Your activities
As a self-employed IT Engineer, you help to solve our clients' business issues and carry out interim projects at the intersection of data, finance and analytics. Your responsibilities will vary from joining, organizing and publishing large data sets to optimizing databases and underlying infrastructure.
You are also involved in the (re)construction of data warehouses and the development of data lakes and pipelines. Every project is a new challenge. This is why your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Implementing the data architecture in Azure or AWS that is necessary to optimize data availability
- Compiling large, complex datasets that comply with preset requirements
- Designing, developing and testing innovative solutions in a variety of coding languages
- Improving and expanding CD/CI pipelines by enhancing automated testing methods

What you bring
We are looking for experienced data engineers and IT Engineers with different data and IT-related backgrounds, experiences, and passions. It speaks for itself that you are ambitious, self-reflective and dare to be confident in an authentic way.
Furthermore, you are energized by stakeholder management and are well adept at gathering reliable information. You use this in combination with a consultive mindset to make our clients more successful.
- You are self-employed or intend to become one
- You have 3+ years of relevant work experience
- You have a background in Computer Science, Data Science or another IT related study
- You are familiar with one or more general operating systems (e.g. Linux, Unix, Windows), cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and common programming languages (e.g., Java, SQL, Python, C#)
- You live in the Netherlands and are fluent in Dutch and English
